The Future of First Methodist

We received an outstanding 302 responses to the survey request, with many pages of excellent feedback for the committee. Thank you! It was a blessing to see the close alignment between the committee's preliminary discussions and the input you provided through the surveys. We are currently in the process of vetting a number of outstanding candidates that have been referred to us by our consultant. We are very encouraged with the progress.

We ask that you join with us in fasting and prayer throughout this season of discernment. We gather for prayer at 9:00 a.m. each Sunday morning in Parker Hall and hope you will join us.

On August 22, the congregation of First Methodist voted at 92% to disaffiliate from the United Methodist Church.
