Three Methods. One Goal.

Discipleship at First Methodist provides you with different means of deepening your faith and your relationship with Jesus Christ.

Sunday School

Sundays | 9:30 & 11:00 a.m.
On Sundays, we offer classic Christian education in the form of Sunday school. We have many classes organized generally by age/stage of life. Classes rotate through a series of six sets of curricula in one year.

Small Groups

All Days & Times | In Homes
Our small groups are the place where deep and transformational community happens. We gather all over the Tulsa metro in homes in groups of 8-12.

Mid-Week Classes

Wednesdays (Seasonal) | 6:00 p.m.
Seasonally, we offer practical mid-week classes. These range from finances to how to be a better neighbor, from spiritual gifts to in-depth Bible studies.

Creating a culture of relationships that matter.  In CONNECT, Phil Maynard, turns everything we have ever learned about how to do faith sharing upside down.  It is NOT top down information sharing.  It is NOT bottom up catechism learning.  It is putting ourselves in the right places for person to person building of relationships, for heart to heart making of new friends, and for soul to soul sharing of our faith journeys.  CONNECT does not preach at us; it journeys with us.  The author provides the scriptures the questions, the tools for an individual, a church team or a whole congregation to self-discover their own pathway to “connect” with those who do not yet know Christ.  And this self-discovery takes place in a way that is filled with respect and integrity for each and every person.  It allows each team or church to find the processes that express who they are as Christians and honor their core values.  Make a friend, be a friend, bring a friend to Christ.
